As presented previously at DiHuCon, this talk was given on the findings of my undergraduate thesis Dungeons, Dragons, and the Devil: Faith, Authority, and Identity through Role-Playing Games during the Satanic Panic in Calgary, outlining a path towards creating a creative game project through which to explore the same themes on the intersections between role-playing and reality formation.
